About BeltConvert
BeltConvert is a set of free converters, one pair of formats per page. Each page does a single job: read a file or a piece of text in one format and write it in another.
Nothing is uploaded
Every conversion runs inside your browser. The page downloads the code it needs (for STEP files that is a CAD kernel of several megabytes, so the first conversion takes a moment), reads the file from your disk, converts it, and hands the result back as a download. No file is sent to a server, so there is nothing to delete afterwards and no size limit beyond what your computer can handle.

All of it: every converter, any number of files, no accounts, no watermarks, no queue.

- STEP files are read with Open CASCADE Technology (LGPL 2.1) compiled to WebAssembly through the occt-import-js project; 3MF, OBJ and STL are handled with three.js (MIT).
- Bank formats are parsed with ofx-js and qif-ts; spreadsheets are written with write-excel-file; XML and CSV with fast-xml-parser and Papa Parse.
- Color pages use standard sRGB and naive CMYK formulas. PANTONE® matches are approximate nearest colors from public reference values; this site is not affiliated with Pantone LLC. PANTONE® is a registered trademark of Pantone LLC.
